Get Ready for National Preparedness Month 

September 2014!

 

National Preparedness Month kicks off ALL DAY on

Friday, September 5th!  Register to volunteer at any of the sites

throughout the five boroughs:

Bronx

Fordham Plaza (Register here)

Brooklyn

Borough Hall (Register here)

Manhattan

Herald Square (Register here)

Queens

Jamaica Center (Register here)

Staten Island

SI Ferry Terminal (Register here)

 

National Preparedness Month is a national initiative that occurs every September when organizations and agencies across the country host events throughout the month to promote community preparedness.

On September 5th NYC Citizen Corps and the Office of Emergency Management are asking volunteers to help New Yorkers get better informed and prepared by distributing preparedness materials to thousands of commuters and pedestrians in each of the five boroughs!
